The Great Depression - A Brief History
The hospital opened in 19 28, and the next year saw the stock market crash that is commonly used to mark the beginning of the great depression. At first they did ok. The great depression was not an all or nothing event that affected every one all at once. So they were able to keep moving with their plans. And in 19 30, they opened the university with doctor william mosley brown, formerly of washington and lee, as its president.
