The Palpable Thyroid Nodule

Only five percent of palpable thyroid nodules turn out to be malignant. Ask about history of radiation, or family history of thyroid slash indicrin malignancies. Would they have any radiation exposure? Because that greatly increases the risk of a palpable nodule being malignant.
