The Importance of Port Position in Laparoscopic Surgery

Stress relief pads that can be safely secured to standing steps in the operating room and please consider using those pads when you're also using steps in a safe way. Once your ports are in place your ergonomic principles again are to keep your shoulders down your elbows at your side making it similar to open surgery. The idea of postural resets I think is crucially important especially in laparoscopy where we really get tunnel vision staring at a screen.
