How to Introduce Characters in Order of Importance

I like to introduce the characters, essentially an order of importance. In an ensemble, you know, you want to feel like everyone is vital and a part of the story. I think I had 10 sort of main players, nine points of view. That was very ambitious. And in this book, we have seven, oh gosh, characters, seven points of view and nine characters, something like that.
