The Holy Spirit Indwells Us
The body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of god's covenant. The holy spirit will hold on to us after our death and be the agent of resurrection. I would want to have a more robust theology of the holy spirit as the means of continuity and of resurrection. You know, a funeral is not necessarily the place to correct people's theological understanding.
