China's reintegration isn't necessarily an economic boost across the board, at least not straight away. China is a big part of global GDP for a period that will grow really quite quickly as it recovers. Many parts of the world are now battling inflation and their central banks are trying to engineer a slowdown in their economies. So if those central banks see a Chinese reopening contributing to fast global growth faster than they wanted, they'll try and offset it by raising interest rates or by lowering less quickly.
