If things are really bad, consider taking on a part time job. I think now is a great time to do something that will rekindle your enthusiasm and passion for things. Reach out to others through service, you know, help another author pay it forward or create a multi-author promotion. And even if you don't get a lot of monetary benefit from something that's time consuming and difficult now, it doesn't mean later on down the road, you won't.
