Do I Need to Go to A&E?
Some people go to A&E thinking, I know I don't need it, but hey, I'm going to go there. So they're just doing what they've been told. It's hardly any patient's responsibility. They're ending up at the wrong places. We do not have enough capacity with experienced clinicians in primary care who can deal with all these problems. Patients are getting worse outcomes and dying because the service is not geared appropriately to give them what they require. Do not blame the patients. It's not their fault. The problems don't go away just because there's no capacity. You're looking at eight hours sitting on a heartchair if you're lucky"
