When I was home secretary, it was 120,000. That was in the middle of the financial crash where no one wanted to come here. It's arguable that David Cameron's vain, glorious attempt to get it down to the tens of thousands cost him his premiership. So it shouldn't be a big political issue. There is a political consensus. Immigration has been good for this country. It has to be controlled. The people who come here should contribute towards the economy, pay their taxes, obey the laws.
