I come from a low-metal income family. They worked very hard. Money was probably the least amount of thing talked about, but work every day,. It kind of instilled a lot with me in terms of my approach with medicine and everything. My wife was a cardiac stenographer. She didn't have any loans, but we didn't use any of her income to kind of help with the debt payment along the way. I did buy a townhouse my first year residency; that turned out to be a good deal just because of the way the market fell.
