Newport says deep work is not a moral stance. But he's saying it's purely pragmatic. And i think we should be about deep work because of the eternal consequences, if done in the right heart attitude. If you're just sort of floating through your to get a pay check, you don't care about whether you do good work or not. That's a poor stewardship of your life.
