How to Prove Safety in the US
In USA, the most common practice to prove safety is to run a series of safety tests. Some people will run a safety and use study when you can't run an HRIPT. So there's as a calculated safety assessment, ours is an actual testing. And if you don't do this testing, then you have to carry a warning on your products that says this product has not been evaluated for safety. No one wants that.
