Is Ruby on an Embedded System a Good Idea?
Ruby was cross compiling here so it was making the templates in for the other languages doing code generation, and then you'd be able to put that code on the box. But Ruby only gets you so far like it was really good for that aspect. So I started looking around for other things what VMs out there can help solve this problem. And one of the big picks at the time was Java, because that's a multi threaded VM. It is a bit of a resource hog but they did have an embedded version of it I think was Java, me or something like that micro edition.
