There's kind of a grounding reality to humor. We hear this in just like common parlance about people who take themselves too seriously, you know, don't take yourself so seriously, you can't take a joke. And that's not to trivialize the very real concerns and trials that people experience. But there comes a kind of recognition that we just can't bear it, right? "We need to introduce a note of humor, a note of play," he says.
