Child, What Art Thou My Little Pearl?

Hester's daughter, pearl, amused herself with flinging wild flowers at her mother. Mother sat erect and looked sadly into little pearl's wild eyes. When the shot was all expended, child stood still and gazed at hester with that little laughing image of a fiend peeping out.
