Roman Grosjean's Jazz Hands With the Dressings

We are very grateful indeed to so many people who have made those safety improvements year after year at the FIA. People like Sid Watkins, people like Charlie Whiting and their work has been advanced by others. It all paid off in the Bahrain Grand Prix. The progress made shown in staggering starkness with those pictures shown all the way around the world. We should also mention Laurent Meccierse, who is now Ferrari sporting director. He was actually acting team principal in Bahrain because Matty Abonotto stayed home in Maranello. And so Laurent definitely played his part in the introduction of the halo as well.
