In Georgia, prosecutors can't use their regular Grand Jury to conduct lengthy, extensive investigation like we could in the federal system. Fannie Willis had to ask the court to in panel that special investigative Grand Jury within her eight or nine months doing investigative work. Doug asks under what potential circumstances would Trump be prohibited from running for office, what convictions would do it? The answer is partially clear and partially unclear. This is one of those areas that is unfortunately unsettled.
