I got as much pleasure out of it being for James. The mudslide slim was just wonderful because he's a terrific guitarist and that's what appealed to me first. When I heard there's a Carol King song it made sense, someone who cut her teeth in New York's real building,. writing pop songs in the 50s and early 60s. A real teeny bobblegum stuff like the locomotion but also a seriously good piano player and musician.
