Is the Labor Market Taking a Step Away From the Recession?
Jeff Mills: Good news should be good news regardless of the markets reaction today. He says we have a bit of a bifurcated labor market right now with COVID winners firing and losers hiring. But if layoffs are concentrated in these higher paying positions in tech and finance, what does that ultimately mean for wages? Jeff Mills: I think this further cements the kind of higher for longer mantra for the Fed.
