The Need for Congregation in Your Book Chartment
The author talks about the need for solitude in her life. She says she feels a profound sense of interconnection with humanity, but can do that on my own. Chartment was inspired by an online Buddhist retreat run by Zen peacemakers. They go to Auschwitz once a year and think really deeply about what happened there. And they immerse themselves fully into moments of collective suffering - which is empowering.
