Acceptance and Commitment Based Therapy

ACT is an approach where we look through the lens of radical acceptance for people to manage emotions. So a good way to see this in anyone's life is to say something, consider something awful unfortunately that happened to you in your life. You can't make that thing not have happened. But what you can do is work on something that's called radical acceptance that helps you to manage your feelings around it and to live past it. That also helps with really serious trauma or just upsetting things that happen to us as life goes on.
