"I have an unending eternal relationship with God. When I wander away, God keeps coming back and calling me into a relationship," he says. "God allows us to suffer. His kids are 22, 20, and 18; his regret is that they don't disobey all of the stuff in Deuteronomy 31: "Even though I know they're going to let me down, we call that grace"
