The Fish Oil Myth
The data that drove the Hypothesis that fish oil is good for cardiovascular health because it impairs platelet function is really flawed data. A recent publication out of the opera trial then I think they showed less bleeding when patients were on yeah less transfusions. But if a patient comes in and sees me a day before surgery and says oh shoot. I didn't stop it I forgot to take it out of my pillbox.
