"For better or for worse is really just not going to have an impact if we can't move things at a political level," she says. "The abortion debate is very tricky for a lot of disabled people because, you know, I had relatives telling my mom to abort me when my mom thought I would likely be disabled and but my mom and I are both pro-choice regardless" She adds that it's frustrating how often disabled people are used as pawns in this argument over pro-choice of pro-life.
