Do You Think of Her as a Woman When You Look at These Works?

Do you think of her as a woman when you look at these paintings, or do you see it as an image? Both because by this time we know so much about her life. I mean, what do you have to do to become o female artist, and especially of her generation? You had to bolt. And so she had to make a life in which she could make art every day. So that's the important information for me. Then the images themselves have a freedom that i really love and need. Not that i understand those, but i'm entreaed by them. The purpose is probably exactly the same as that white horse galloping away in that earliest picture. In some
