I wrote an op-ed for your esteemed publication, New York Times. I made the point that this isn't the kind of peacekeeping that the UN Charter originally had in mind. The focus was supposed to be on keeping countries from invading other countries. And I think I suggested there may be a trade-off between these two goals.
