Writing Memoirs - The Golden Rule

I try to write memoirs according to the golden rule: say on to others what yu would have said onto. And if you can't say something pleasant, and it's really necessary that you can't says something pleasant for the story or to make a point, then change any identifying factorsm or characteristics.
