The Effects of Fiscal Policy on the Economy

I think the fiscal side has been the kind of like slower moving and more harder to pin down thing. Normally, we see Fed raising rates and fiscal policy getting tighter. And that's why you usually get a slowdown pretty soon afterwards. But in this case, we haven't gotten that. We've had fiscal policy kind of offsetting monetary policy. So I think that'll probably go on for a while.
