The Conflict Narrative in Religion in the 21st Century

The conflict narrative is the research that you quote right at the beginning, that we did with you go a couple of years ago, remains strong. I do also think that a lot of the seeming growth and religious adherence in the 21st century will be amongst the religions or denominations that have a slightly more antagonistic attitude to science. The mainstream denominations Anglicanism even Catholicism are tending to give way to more fragmented, charismatic Pentecostal forms of Christianity. So I fear that the conflict narrative is here to stay, not because it's true, but because the different dynamic changes in religion in 21st century might end up inadvertently feeding it.
