The Importance of Remembering That God's People Aren't Perfect
In the book of Judges, Samson is shown to be a fool in many ways. In those days there was no king in Israel, and every man did what was right in his own eyes. God's people aren't perfect, but they still are his; we get to belong to him. This is why it's so important for true believers to know the Lord's heart and not swerve from it.
