I think for Carla during in the heights I knew I wanted to do something like much higher. She sort of lives in this place of like she lives in the top of her head. For me at least it comes more in the rehearsal process or like in the process of starting to work with the other actors and see like what the fit is. Sometimes I have a really strong take on it.
