Is That Not a Full and Sufficient Solution to the Problem?
More than 700 individuals have been charged with federal crimes for their role in the insurrection. The city of washington, d c has sued the proud boys and the oath keepers, seeking severe financial penalties. Given how paranoid many far right extremist groups are about being infiltrated, many have gone underground to void further entanglement with the authorities. So why can't we just have federal law enforcement action going after these groups repeatedly and a, you know, taking them underground?
