Gandalf and the Dwarves

Gandalf is upset that the dwarves have left him behind. He puts on his invisibility ring to trick them into thinking he's invisible. Bilbo takes off his ring and says, here I am! And of course they're all very, very happy to see him. They can't believe how did he do it?
