Dealing With Problems With Slow Urgency

The housing market and the inherent fragilities there are those problems capable of being worked on with a slow urgency at this point in our history. The types of problems that I think lend themselves to slow urgency are very big problems that can be fixed over long periods of time. It's been ten years since we tried to implement a carbon pollution reduction scheme in Australia, and there's still no scheme. So trying for big bang policies, I think often results in nothing getting done. And the housing market is another set of issues that lend itself to this type of solution.
