The Battle of Frithirna
In 592, Ethel Frith of Berenicia began his rule. Four years later in 597 Chalen died and was succeeded by Cholwsex. The problem is that we aren't given a lot of detail on exactly what happened. It seems like despite the military successes earlier on, Chalen's reign ended in disaster.
