What I'm concerned about are the more abstract, open-ended clauses like equal protection,. privileges, and hermunities do process. And I think here, you can determine an original meaning so long as you recognize that this is a broad term That referred broadly and vaguely to concepts of liberty or equality but not more specific than that.
