Make it very clear what the completion criteria is. How do you know when you're done? You need concrete observable in the environment criteria that can be clearly identified as whether those criteria have been met or not. If any of your vague, like it's good or it's your best, then you're going to be stuck either putting it off until the last minute, or perfectionistic behavior and spending eight hours writing something that you could have done in an hour.
