Long COVID and Cognitive Impairment in Children and Adults

Do the brains of children and adults differ in their responses to long COVID? Whether long COVID induces different neurobiological consequences at different ages is a pressing question. There must be a concern that with children who go through particular phases of brain development, that should they get some sort of long COVID, that it's going to have an impact. That is certainly a concern. And it really calls for urgent study of exactly what is happening.
