The Trauma of Aowyn
Aowyn is a traumatized woman who rode into battle. She's still underneath the triumph over the Witch King and everything else. And so the fact that she is so pale and so cold and her features are so stone-like, petrified is another great word for stone-like right? That is. I think what we're seeing is somebody who is still in the grip of the same trauma that drove her to do what she did to get to the battle of the battlefield.
