I think that you have to set the patterns and paradimes early on, because otherwise you end up having to retrofit it. When a new product team gets spun up, if there's no pattern or paradime, they're just going to do it the way they've done it before. And then when there's an incident, you've got four or five different ways of deploying. I think the ability for simplicity is extremely important for a range of ferent reasons.
