The Right Messenger and What's the Right Message
The culture war is here. We're in the 21st century, it's not 1960 anymore. Atheism is up, not down. And new ways of thinking about living are everywhere. Black Lives Matter has assimilated to a certain degree to the civil rights movement so that when we talk about transgender rights, we're talking about human rights in the same register as anti discrimination and racial equity rights. But they have never had any grand animus against Black Lives Matter. What exactly have they done? They fragmented into a bunch of local organizations. You cannot be a leftist and do what you want to do for black people.
