The Divisions of the Gatekeepers
Sons of Obid Edom with their sons and brethren Abel-men qualified for the service. Mishal-Amiah had sons and brother Abel-men, 18,. Hose of the sons of Marari had sons Shimri, who was chief. The lot for the east fell to Shammiah; his son Zechariah came out for the north. These were the divisions of the gatekeepers among the Korahites and the Sons of Marari.
