The book was written for an Indian audience who are relatively less literate in this field as compared to the Western audience. The government of India, for instance, has set up a cell of behavioral economics under the Ministry of Finance where various kinds of nudges can be used and so on. An artist created a 12 foot alligator and placed it in front of a pothole which immediately caught everyone's attention. Within 24 hours that pothole had been cleared up and so forth. One is beginning to see some of the advantages of the applications of the economic principles.
