CTPA and D-Dimer for PE

The patient is tachypnic, tachycardic, hypoxic, with lower extremity edema. He has evidence of organ injury with an elevated creatinine as well as an elevated anti-proBNP. The CTPA showed that there was no pulmonary embolae, but the main pulmonary artery was prominent concerning from wild pulmonary hypertension. His heart and media sental structures were within normal limits. A transdarastic echocardiogram was pursued.
