The Six to Three Affirmative Action Decision in the Harvard and UNC Cases

The Supreme Court invalidated both Harvard and the University of North Carolina's affirmative action programs on the grounds that they illegally discriminate on the basis of race. The 6-3 opinion was written by Chief Justice John Roberts with concurrences from Justice Sotomayor and Justice Jackson. There are several very creative works of historical fiction woven throughout the majority opinion, which I figured we could also get to upfront.
