How to Deal With an Adjustment Disorder
After an event like a move or some other traumatic event, any change in your life is called adjustment disorder. It usually wanes after about six months and you do what's called assimilation where you assimilate into your new situation. Some people will form a deep depression because adjustment disorder once again is basically called a situational depression. And sometimes they require medication depending on how deep the depression goes. Usually if a person requires medication they probably had a predisposition to anxiety or depression or both.
