The affective dimension of gratitude is supposedly connected with all kinds of positive life outcomes, lack of depression and physical things like levels of certain hormones. So for those two reasons, I suppose, it's a natural starting point to think yeah, the affectivedimension of gratitude is pretty important. And so the burden of proof is on someone who tries to suggest it's not as important as one might think.
