The treatment action campaign turned its attention back to persuading the south african government that cheaper drugs were essential. Eventually, government then agreed to not only drugs to come into the country, but to also have them purchased at prices that do be offerable to the country. The cheaper drugs came too late to stop the deaths of many south africans who were h i v positive, but they did contribute to a world wide debate, which is still going on. But it showed thatb farmer was beatable.
