What Are the Factors That Affect Social Media?
There are different types of people who actively engage with false and misleading information online. One is the intentional sharers or intentional users who actually enjoy or get money or get paid for manipulating others on social media. And then we have the unintentional sharers, which is more about our subject misinformation. Those with lower analytical skills might be more likely to believe and share false information. For instance, during times when emotions are high, we are more open to engaging with information.
