The Distinction Between the Theological Institute and the Local Church

In the United States, the seminary has been largely separated as an institution from the local church. I would say it's one of the places that's the greater risk to be detached from the local Church. Christian colleges are facing a crisis. It's happening already. There are not young people, 18 to 20, whatever that want to go to a Christian school. And so what may look like a thriving, safe place in a seminary is no such thing.
